The University Management has expressed serious concern over the rising number of unregistered exotic vehicles being operated by students within the campus and its surroundings, without due authorisation or permit.

This development was addressed in a circular issued by the Dean of Student Affairs, Prof. Festus Adeosun, urging all students who own vehicles to ensure proper registration with the Environmental Unit and the Student Affairs Division before using them on campus.

The memo emphasised that failure to comply with this directive would attract strict disciplinary measures, including possible appearance before the Student Disciplinary Committee and confiscation of the offending vehicles.

The move aligned with the University’s commitment to maintaining order, enhancing campus security, and promoting peaceful co-existence in line with Sustainable Development Goal 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions).
