The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Kolawole Salako has been bestowed with the highest honour of the Grand War Marshall (GWM) of the Man O’ War Club, FUNAAB Command.
At a light parade ceremony at the basement of the Senate Building, the Dean, College of Agricultural Management and Rural Development (COLAMRUD), Professor Adewale Dipeolu who is also a Deputy Grand War Marshall decorated the Vice-Chancellor with the insignia of office. He also thanked him for his invaluable support to the Club.
In his Response, Professor Salako stated that he was elated to be decorated as the GWM of the Club, charging the Man O’ War Club to return to its past activities of ensuring orderliness at Motor Parks.
According to him, “We were known for it in the past where students line up orderly when boarding buses”. He however, noted that that was the kind of University, the citadel of learning we would like to be.
