… Focuses on Tomato Growth and Shelf Life

The Institute of Food Security, Environmental Resources and Agricultural Research (IFSERAR) of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), would hold its monthly seminar for November on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. in the IFSERAR Laboratory Room.

The seminar, titled “Growth, Yield and Fruit Shelf Life of Tomato (Lycopersicon esculentum Mill) as Influenced by Organic Fertilizer, Bamboo Biochar Rates and Storage Media,” would be delivered by Dr. Patience Odueme.

The presentation is expected to provide valuable insights into sustainable agricultural practices, particularly in enhancing tomato production, postharvest quality, and shelf life through innovative soil and storage management techniques.

Members of the University Community, especially Deans, Directors, researchers, and students, are cordially invited to attend and participate in the knowledge-sharing session.
