Dr. OYEBANJI Funmilola Felicia was appointed as a Junior Research Fellow to the Department of EMT on 24th February, 2011. She was upgraded to the position of an Assistant Lecturer on the 10th February, 2014 after obtaining her MEMP degree. Her appointment was confirmed on 10th February, 2016. She obtained her Ph.D. in Environmental Management from the Pan African University of Life and Earth Sciences in University of Ibadan, Nigeria in 2019. Dr. Oyebanji was promoted to Lecturer II on 1st October 2017 and Lecturer 1 on 1st October 2020. Dr. Oyebanji has to her credit twenty (20) publications of which nine (9) are additional after her last promotion. Dr. Oyebanji teaches and supervises students at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. She has supervised 23 undergraduates, 3 professional masters and co-supervises 6 academic masters. Dr. Oyebanji is a member of
Departmental Results Processing Committee and the Assistant Postgraduate Coordinator. She is a recipient of African Union Commission Fellowship Programme for Ph.D Environmental Management. She has won many grants both as principal and co-investigator. Dr. Oyebanji belongs to different local and international professional societies such as Environmental Health Scientists’ Association, Nigeria (EHSAN), Society of Environmental Toxicology and
Chemistry (SETAC), International Federation of Environmental Health (IFEH) and African Academy of Environmental Health (AAEH) among others.
