Short Profile

Matthew Ayokunle Olude (DVM, M.Sc., Ph.D) joined the services of the Federal
University of Agriculture, Abeokuta in 2006, as a Lecturer II in the Department of
Veterinary Anatomy, College of Veterinary Medicine and rose through the ranks to
become a Professor of Veterinary Anatomy with specialty in vertebrate morphology and
morphometry, histology and neuroanatomy with particular interests in neuroethology and

effects of environmental toxicology on the nervous system. He has supervised and co-
supervised several undergraduate and post graduate students (Masters and PhD) and is a

recipient of several local and International awards among which are the International
Society for Neurochemistry CAEN award 2010 and 2020, International Brain Research
Organization Awards 2011, 2012, 2017 and TETFUND NRF, 2016 and 2021.
