In compliance with directive by the Office of the Accountant-General of the Federation, Federal Ministry of Finance, Abuja, on the enrolment of staff of federal universities and colleges of education in Nigeria into the Integrated Personnel and Payroll Information System (IPPIS), the enrolment exercise began in the University on Thursday, November 28, 2019 and would end on Saturday, December 7, 2019 at the Conference Room, Unity Building A, at 10 am daily.
The Registrar, Dr. ‘Bola Adekola has advised members of staff to present both the original and photocopies of the following documents for sighting by the enrolling officers. They are: letter of first appointment, letter of last promotion, evidence of transfer of service (if any), staff identification card, birth certificate/declaration of age, and educational qualifications. Others include copy of bank statements (6 months), Bank Verification Number (BVN) printout, Pension Fund Administrator (PFA) printout, and evidence of change of name (if any).
The enrolment exercise would be conducted for academic staff between Monday, December 2 and Thursday, December 5, 2019 with two Colleges on each day in alphabetical order while for the non-teaching staff, the exercise commenced on Thursday, November 28, 2019 according to their cadres in ascending order with a view to ensuring that not all staff would vacate their offices at the same time for the exercise.
