Governing Council Approves Promotion of 22 New Professors, 12 Readers
The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) has recorded a major academic milestone with the ratification of the promotion of 22 new Professors and 12 Readers at a Special Meeting of the Governing Council held today, June 24, 2025.
The decision, approved under the leadership of the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of Council, His Royal Majesty, Oba Rasheed Ayotunde Olabomi, Odundun IV, the Aragbiji of Iragbiji Land marked a significant boost to the University’s academic strength and intellectual capital.
The development also reflected the University’s continued commitment to academic excellence, staff development, and global competitiveness.
