Council received a letter from the University Librarian through the University Management on the impending expiration of his Tenure as University Librarian.
Council noted that the present University Librarian was appointed the 2nd University Librarian on 25th May, 2001 for a term of Five (5) years and was renewed, based on satisfactory performance, for a final tenure of five years on the 25th May, 2006 which would expire on the 24th May, 2011.
Council noted that the present University Librarian had performed well during his two term tenure as University Librarian.
Council noted that the tenure of the University Librarian would expire on the 24th May, 2011 and thereafter, he would proceed on his terminal leave.
