40 members of staff of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) have emerged among the first batch of beneficiaries as the Bank of Industry (BOI) commences the disbursement of loans under the Tertiary Institutions’ Small and Medium Scale Enterprises Support Fund (TISSF), an initiative of the Federal Government of Nigeria aimed at empowering staff and graduates of tertiary institutions to grow viable business ventures.
According to a circular signed today, November 3, 2025, by the Bursar, Mr. Olukayode Osinuga, members of staff who applied for the facility are advised to check their registered email addresses, those used during the application process, confirm and accept their loan offers directly from the BOI.
The circular further revealed that the first batch of 40 successful applicants from FUNAAB have already received their official loan offers from the Bank of Industry, marking a significant step in the implementation of the TISSF scheme.
Staff are reminded that only successful applicants would receive formal notifications from the BOI and are encouraged to follow the instructions provided via email to complete all required processes for loan acceptance and disbursement.
