The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Olusola Oyewole, is Chief Host. The Pro-Chancellor and Chairman, Senator Adeseye Ogunlewe, will meet with members of Staff of the University on Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at 12.00noon. Venue is the Mahmood Yakubu Lecture Theatre. Members of staff are all expected to attend this very important Inaugural meeting. Other members of the Governing Council expected to be at the meeting are: Former Speaker, House of Representatives, Alhaji Ghali Umar Na’Abba; A renowned Industrialist, Alhaji Khadir Abba Dasuki; an educationist and Political Scientist of note, Professor Femi Otubanjo and a versatile Politician, Chief Kayode Akindele, alongside internal and other external members of Council.The 76th Statutory Meeting of the Governing Council of the University will begin on Monday, May 6, 2013 with a tour of the Campus from 9.00 am.
