The family of the late Prof. Oladipo Ademuyiwa has expressed deep appreciation to the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) for the support and recognition of the late distinguished scholar’s legacy.
During an appreciation visit to the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Babatunde Kehinde, in his Office today, March 24, 2025, the family conveyed their gratitude for FUNAAB’s solidarity during their period of mourning. Speaking on behalf of the family, the late Professor’s daughter, Miss Moyosooreoluwa Ademuyiwa, acknowledged the University’s kindness and compassion, which, she said, provided them with strength and solace.
She particularly commended the University for the posthumous publication of the 99th Inaugural Lecture, which her father was scheduled to deliver before his passing.
While welcoming the family, the Vice-Chancellor, paid glowing tribute to the late Professor, describing him as a dedicated Academic whose impact on teaching, research, and mentorship was invaluable.
Similarly, the Ag. Head of the Department of Biochemistry, Dr. Beno Onukwor, lauded Prof. Ademuyiwa’s immense contributions to research and student development, noting that his legacy would continue to inspire future generations.
