Adherence to the Existing Speed Limit on Campus by Staff Members

Published On:

May 28, 2021

The University Management has noted the increasing rate of cases of over-speeding by some staff members and other vehicle owners using the University campus roads.

It is disheartening to note that despite the awareness that management had created and even with the existing Speed Limit Boards on Campus and constant information by the Directorate of Public Relations through the University FUNAAB Bulletin and FUNAAB Radio, some members of staff still choose to ignore the warnings. The Management will neither support nor accept this unethical act which may lead to fatal road accidents and eventual loss of lives.

Consequently, the Management wishes to admonish all members of staff to ensure adherence to the speed limit approved as displayed on the University campus roads.

The above is for your information and strict compliance.

Thank you.
