ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR PRE-DEGREE SCIENCE
Pre-degree Programme provides a pre-matriculation year of studies and is designed to prepare students for the various Degree Programmes of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta. Candidates for the Pre-Degree Programme must have at least the following qualifications not more than two sittings at the General Certificate of Education (GCE) ‘O Level, West Africa School Certificate or Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE) Examinations or National Examination Council (NECO). Passes at credit level in at least five subjects, which must include English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology/Agricultural Science and at least a pass in Physics. At the end of the programme, candidates will be admitted to 100 level in various degree courses at the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta provided they satisfy the JAMB admission criteria, pass the Pre-Degree Examinations as well as the Post-UTME screening of the University.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR PRE-DEGREE MANAGEMENT
Candidates for the Pre-Degree Management Programme must have at least the following qualification at not more than two sittings at the General Certificate of Education (GCE) O’level, West Africa School Certificate or Senior Secondary Certificate Examinations (SSCE) or National Examination Council (NECO). Passes at credit level in at least five (5) subjects, which must include English Language, Mathematics, Economics and any other two (2) subjects (from Commerce, Geography, Financial Accounting and Government).

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR PART-TIME DEGREE PROGRAMME

Entry requirements to Part-time Degree Programme are essentially the same as those for regular degree programmes in the University. In other words, candidates seeking admission into Part-time Degree Programmes should possess at least 5 O’level credit passes in the following subjects: English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Biology or Agricultural Science in West African School Certificate Examination (WASC), Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE), National Examination Council (NECO), General Certificate of Education (GCE) or its equivalent. Candidates who possess NCE/OND, HND Certificates in related courses from institutions recognized by the University Senate may also apply.

NATURE OF PROGRAMME
The Part-time programme is a non-residential programme, with lectures holding on weekends at the Main Campus of the University. The programme will run for one (1) year above for the number of years of the full-time programme.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR CAMBRIDGE ‘A’ LEVEL PROGRAMME

It is 10-month intensive and residential programme of the University. At the end of the programme successful candidates are guaranteed admission into the 200 level of all courses offered by FUNAAB or any other university within and outside Nigeria.
Candidates for the Cambridge ‘A’ Level Programme must have at least the following qualifications not more than two sittings at the General Certificate of Education (GCE) ‘O Level, West Africa School Certificate or Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE) Examinations or National Examination Council (NECO). Passes at credit level in at least five subjects, which must include English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology and Agricultural Science while Management Programme must have at least the following qualification at not more than two sittings at the General Certificate of Education (GCE) O’ level, West Africa School Certificate or Senior Secondary Certificate Examinations (SSCE) or National Examination Council (NECO). Passes at credit level in at least five (5) subjects, which must include English Language, Mathematics, Economics and any other two (2) subjects (from Commerce, Geography, Financial Accounting and Government).
