ADVERTISEMENT FOR THE VACANT POSITIONS OF DEPUTY UNIVERSITY LIBRARIANS

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the vacant positions of Deputy University Librarians in the Library of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta.

The Positions
The Deputy University Librarians will assist the University Librarian in the day-to-day running and coordination of the services of the Main University Library and also the College Libraries.

The Person
Applicants should be knowledgeable and experienced in the Management of university libraries. He/She must possess requisite skills to manage and further develop an ICT-oriented Library.

Qualifications
Candidates should possess a good honours degree and the professional Masters Degree in Library and Information Sciences, with at least twelve (12) years post-qualification cognate experience, preferably in the university system. The candidates must show evidence of substantial contribution to knowledge through research and publications in local and international library science journals.

Salary
The Salary attached to this position is CONUASS 06 (N2,053,124.00 – N2,684,096.00).
