COURSE SYNOPSIS
Workshop safety measures, introduction to workshop hand and power tools emphasizing safety measure to be taken during operation. Workshop materials various gauges and measurement general description of the function and capabilities of grinding machine, drilling machine, lathe machine, milling machine, shaping machines, and cutting machines. Practice in use of machines. Welding, Bracing Soldering and Riveting. Carpentry: hand tools, materials, types of joints, processing of timber. manufacturing of simple components using steel and wood.
