(i) Research Interests

Development and utilization of various microscopic, enzymatic and molecular techniques in diagnosis, identification, characterization and treatment of various gastrointestinal parasites of ruminants, pigs, horses and man ranging from helminthes to protozoans such as the ascarids, strongyles, hookworms, oxyurids and trichurids. My research focuses also on Cryptosporidium, Giardia, Eimeria, Balantidium and Neospora with the aim of molecular characterization and development of novel diagnostic tools for these parasites in animals and man.
