The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta International School (FUNIS) has once again affirmed its reputation for academic excellence, as all its students who sat for the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) recorded outstanding results, everyone scoring above 200.
This remarkable performance has once again placed FUNIS students far ahead of national averages, underscoring the school’s commitment to quality education, student-focused learning, and rigorous academic standards.
While national statistics show that over 78% of candidates scored below 200, FUNIS students defied the trend, demonstrating not only individual brilliance but also the strength of the school’s educational model.
The Principal of FUNIS, Mr. Olusola Ilori expressed immense pride in the students’ achievements, attributing the success to discipline, dedication, early preparation, and strong mentorship.
With 90% of its candidates scoring 250 and above—qualifying them for competitive Degree Programmes in Top-tier universities, FUNIS has continued to raise the bar in secondary school education in Nigeria.
