Alumni Association Celebrates Dr. Agboola’s Appointment as Pioneer Librarian of FUMMSA

The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) Alumni Association has celebrated one of its distinguished members, Dr. Idiat Odunola Agboola, on her recent appointment as the Pioneer University Librarian of the Federal University of Medicine and Medical Sciences, Abeokuta (FUMMSA).

The celebration, held on May 14, 2025, was graced by the Alumni Association’s Global President, Mr. Bolaji Gbadamosi and the Global Secretary, Mr. Femi Ajayi. The duo led the delegation to honour Dr. Agboola for her laudable achievement.

Dr. Agboola, a proud graduate of FUNAAB’s Department of Animal Breeding and Genetics (Class of 2000), transitioned into Library Science in her quest for academic excellence. She pursued advanced Degrees in Library Studies and served diligently at the Nimbe Adedipe Library, where she rose through the ranks to become Deputy Librarian.

Known for her dedication, professionalism, and results-driven approach, Dr. Agboola has earned a reputation as a goal-getter who handles her responsibilities with exceptional commitment and excellence.

The FUNAAB Alumni Association congratulates Dr. Agboola on this milestone and wishes her continued success in her pioneering role at FUMMSA.
