An alumnus of the University, Mr. Tolulope Durojaiye has commended the Professor Oluwafemi Olaiya Balogun-led administration for the positive transformation of the University.

In a letter of commendation, Mr. Durojaiye described the massive infrastructural development and the captivating landscape of the University as awesome.

He noted that the improvement of the official website of the University has tremendously assisted them in keeping track with events, particularly in keeping in touch with their past lecturers.

Mr. Durojaye informed that efforts were on with his former colleagues to assist the current University students with books and other essential academic materials.

An excerpt of his letter to the Vice-Chancellor reads:
“I am an alumnus of UNAAB. I graduated in 2002 from the Biochemistry Department. I am currently a Ph.D student of Applied Chemistry at the Delaware State University. My other colleagues and I that graduated from UNAAB have been hearing the good works you’ve been doing in UNAAB. I came to Lagos for my wedding and I decided to use the opportunity to take a tour of the University.

I am really impressed with what I saw and I can’t wait to get back to the States to share my experience with my other colleagues. My prayer is that God will continue to bless you and give you divine wisdom to run the institution better. We really appreciate the good works!

I remember when we were doing our Masters in 2007 we tried to keep up by searching for the UNAAB’s website and the result was not impressive but now the story has changed. We can search and see the details about our past lecturers now and it’s been awesome.

My other colleagues send their greetings too. Tope Sabitu, Samuel Orefuwa, Adetunji Ojo and I, all graduated in 2002 as Biochemist while Adeola Ibikunle graduated as a Chemist in 2002. We all did our Masters together at Delaware State University and we’re together as well for our Ph.D except for Adetunji Ojo who’s gone to Med. School.

I discussed with Mrs. Kuforiji and Prof. Ademuyiwa separately about working with my other colleagues to get books and some other materials that might be of help to students in UNAAB. I believe God will help us”.
