The Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN), Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) Chapter, composed of professional accountants from the Bursary and Internal Audit Departments of FUNAAB, made history on July 3, 2024.
At their quarterly meeting held in the Pension Board Room, the chapter elected new officers who would lead the Association from 2024 to 2027.
The newly-elected officers were:
- Chairman: Mr. Sonde Julius Oluseyi (CNA)
- Vice-Chairman: Mrs. Olajumoke Aminat Idowu (CNA)
- Treasurer: Mrs. Ivbalukho Rita Akinleye (CNA)
- PRO: Mrs. Esther Titilayo Kaiser (CNA)
- Secretary: Mrs. Anthonia Folashade Adebayo (FCNA)
The event featured recognition and celebrations of members who supported and sponsored the Association’s maiden send-forth for retired members, held on February 7, 2024.
Special appreciation was given to Mrs. Bolanle Adenekan (CNA)-led Five-Member Committee responsible for organising the event.
The meeting saw a robust attendance from members, senior officers, Deputy Bursars, and Deputy Directors (Audit).
Notable attendees included the immediate past Coordinator of FUNAAB Integrated Ventures, Mr. John Ajamu (CNA), and ANAN Fellows such as Mrs. Adekunbi Momoh (FCNA) and former Ag. Bursar, Mrs. Oluremi Oyewunmi (FCNA).
The newly-elected executives pledged to provide purposeful and servant leadership, with a strong commitment to prioritising the welfare of their members.
