Dean, COLNAS, Prof. Tope Popoola
The saying, “Good name is better than gold and silver” has reflected again in the University as the Dean, College of Natural Sciences (COLNAS), Professor Tope Popoola, penultimate week bagged the Independent Corrupt Practices Commission (ICPC) and National Anti-Corruption Voluntary Corps Integrity Awards.
Professor Popoola, a two-time former Commissioner in the State (Ogun) and Special Adviser at the national level was presented the “Distinguished Personality Integrity Award” by the State Coordinator of ICPC/NAVC, Mr. Idris Kevin Abu.
“It is in recognition of your outstanding performance in the fight against corruption in the community”, the awarding body said.
Responding to the honour, Professor Popoola gave glory to God for the award as he promised to always make integrity his watchword.
