Dr. Olapeju Ayo-Ajasa is a lecturer and researcher in the Department of Animal Production and Health. She teaches Non-Ruminant Animal Production with specialization in Rabbit Production at both undergraduate and postgraduate classes. Her other assignments in the Department include courses and seminar coordinator, level adviser and students’ project supervisor. Her current research includes the “Survey of current status and opportunities in rabbit production in Ogun state and response of rabbits to different feed forms.”

Dr. Ayo-Ajasa possesses excellent administrative, verbal communication and written skills along constructive and effective teaching methods that promote a stimulating learning environment. She has publications in national and international journals and has attended different courses on leadership, education and management in her quest for more knowledge both locally and internationally. She is also a member of Nigerian Institute of Animal Science (NIAS), Nigeria Society for Animal Production, Animal Science Association of Nigeria (ASAN) among others.

Dr. Ayo-Ajasa obtained a Bachelor of Agriculture degree in Animal Science, Master of Agriculture and PhD in Animal Science (Non-Ruminant Production option) from the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta.
