Director, Health Services, Dr. O Talabi

Members of the University Community have been advised to beware of the deadly viral disease, Lassa Fever.
Sounding the note of caution is the University’s Director of Health Services, Dr. O. A. Talabi.
He charged members of staff and students; both living in the hostels as well those that are off-campus, to be more conscious of the dangers posed by the killer disease, usually spread by rodents especially rats, as “the main routes to Lassa Fever”.

Dr. Talabi, has therefore stressed the need for members of staff and students to always maintain good hygiene and take proper care of their environment.
