The Call
Academic staff are hereby invited to compete for the 2014 Academic Staff Training and Development Grants.

Purpose
The Grant will support the staff of the University who wants to pursue Ph.D and Benchwork programme in Nigeria or in foreign institutions.
Condition
While application does not guarantee approval, applicants will be expected to agree with the final decision of the University Staff Development Committee who is administering the grant. Preference shall be given to staff that are just about to commence the Ph.D programme and also have not enjoyed such facility in the past.
Method of Application
Applicants seeking support are expected to submit the following documents:
- Letter of Admission
- Complete schedule of fees including:
(i) Tuition
(ii) Cost of Accommodation
(iii) Cost of Feeding
(iv) Laboratory cost (if any)
(v) Cost of return flight ticket
(vi) Project Proposal for Ph.D
The applications should be forwarded to the Director, CENIP not later than thirty (30) working days from the date of this memo (i.e. February 27, 2015).
