The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Olusola Bandele Oyewole has approved the constitution of a 41-member Committee On 2011-2020 Strategic Plan, under the Chairmanship of Professor O. A. Osinowo, Director, IFSERAR with the following Terms of Reference:

Terms of Reference
(i) To evaluate the strengths in the 2000 – 2010 Strategic Plan for the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta;
(ii) To identify the weaknesses in the implementation of the 2000 – 2010 Strategic Plan; and
(iii) To envision growth and development for the University I the next ten (10) years, that is 2011-2020

The Vice-Chancellor has also requested that the proposed University Strategic Plan should include sub-sector strategic plans for

· Quality Assurance,
· University Research Strategy ,
· University Internationalization, Partnership and Linkages,
· Environmental Charter,
· Enterprises And Consultancy Strategy
· Academic Planning and Academic Programs Projections,
· ICT Strategy
· University Community Engagement and Extension Strategy,
· Human Resources and Management Strategy,
· University Marketing and Communication Strategy,
· University Health Strategy,
· University Sports and Recreation Strategy,
· University Students Affairs and Students Management Strategy.

Submission of Memoranda
In order to assist the Committee in its assignment and as a participatory bottom-up approach, memoranda are invited from Units, Centres, Departments, Colleges, Student Associations/Union, Staff Unions as well as interested members of the University Community. Memorandum should be on compact disc, in sealed envelope and submitted to the address below not later than May 13, 2013.
