The University’s Cisco Networking Academy has begun an International Certification Training Course on “Cisco IT Essentials: PC Hardware and Software”. Participants are expected to gain specialised technical skills needed to install, maintain, secure and repair computers. It would also equip trainees with relevant skills in the operations of desktop and laptop computers, mobile electronic device applications such as tablets, smart phones and printers. Duration of the programme is for a maximum period of three months, commencing from the date stipulated on the FUNAAB website, while the certificates to be awarded to successful participants will be internationally-recognised. Meanwhile, the University has been presented with a certificate of five years of active participation and service in the Cisco Networking Academy Program.
