The College of Agricultural Management and Rural Development (COLAMRUD), Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), has elected Dr. Chioma Adekunle from the Department of Agricultural Economics and Farm Management as the new Deputy Dean. Dr. Adekunle succeeds Prof. Bosede Sotiloye of the Institute of Communication and General Studies, who recently completed her tenure.

The Dean of the College, Prof. Emmanuel Fakoya, expressed his gratitude to the immediate past Deputy Dean, Prof. Sotiloye, for her meritorious and diligent service to the College. He commended her for a tenure marked by impactful contributions and wished her success in her future endeavours. Prof. Fakoya also offered prayers for divine wisdom, knowledge, and understanding for Dr. Adekunle in her new role.

In her farewell remarks, Prof. Sotiloye appreciated the members of the College Board for their unwavering support and cooperation throughout her tenure. She also expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to work closely with colleagues across the College.

The newly elected Deputy Dean, Dr. Adekunle, in her Acceptance Speech, pledged to uphold the standards of the College and seeks the continued cooperation of the College Board to achieve collective goals in her new assignment.
