The College of Biosciences (COLBIOS), Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), has posthumously honoured the late Prof. Oladipo Ademuyiwa, a distinguished Biochemical Toxicologist, with the formal presentation of his 99th Inaugural Lecture booklet, titled “Toxicants and Man: The Enigma of Frenemy.”

The event, held today, March 12, 2025, at the COLBIOS Foyer, was a solemn tribute to the revered scholar, who was originally scheduled to deliver the lecture on this day before his passing on February 16, 2025. He was laid to rest on February 28, 2025.

Fulfilling a promise made by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Babatunde Kehinde, the University ensured the publication of the Inaugural Lecture booklet as a mark of respect and recognition of Prof. Ademuyiwa’s immense scholarly contributions. The presentation not only honoured his legacy but also reinforced FUNAAB’s commitment to preserving the intellectual works of its esteemed academics.
