The College of Engineering, Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) on Tuesday held its end of the year 2012 party and thanksgiving prayer.

In his short exhortation, the Dean of the College, Professor Samuel Adejuyigbe said it is worth celebrating the goodness and greatness of God adding that “God has the ability to make you great and has the ability to make you cross without any hindrance.

He charged every staff of the College to walk with God in the year 2013 in order to receive favour from above.

Professor Adejuyigbe admonished them to put their trust in God in year 2013 and have it in mind that they are going to make it irrespective of obstacles.

The Dean thanked members of staff for their selfless service and solicited for their continuous support in taking the College to the next level in the New Year.

The Deputy Dean of the College, Dr. Salami Ismaila, while giving the assessment of the College said it was established in August 2002 and by August this year, it will be 11 years old.

He noted that the College started with Four Departments and today it has risen to Six which are: Civil, Electrical/Electronics, Agricultural, Mechanical, Mechatronics and Food Engineering departments while the foundation four Departments have received full accreditation from Council of Registered Engineers of Nigeria(COREN).
