COLVET to Hold 17th Oath-Taking, Induction Ceremony on October 17

The College of Veterinary Medicine (COLVET), Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), in conjunction with the Veterinary Council of Nigeria (VCN), is set to host its 17th Oath-Taking and Induction Ceremony for newly qualified Veterinary Doctors on Friday, October 17, 2025, at the Prof. Oluwafemi Balogun Ceremonial Building beginning at 10:00 a.m, with the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Babatunde Kehinde, serving as the Chief Host.

The event, themed “Celebrating Veterinary Knowledge and Impact: Shaping Enterprise, Science and Society,” would begin on Thursday, October 16, 2025, with an Alumni Homecoming and Pre-Induction Lecture scheduled to hold at the Veterinary Auditorium at COLVET by 12 noon.

The ceremony would celebrate the accomplishments of the graduating class and reaffirm the University’s steadfast commitment to producing competent, ethical, and socially responsible Veterinarians poised to make impactful contributions to national development.
