A joint resolution by the Academic and Non-Teaching staff of the University has been adopted, on the representation of Congregation on the University’s Governing Council.
The unanimous endorsement was sealed by the University Congregation, at its meeting of Wednesday, January 5, 2011, at the Julius Okojie Lecture Theatre Complex, chaired by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Oluwafemi Olaiya Balogun.
Parts of the proposal were amended by the members before the final endorsement, which will now ensure equitable share of the two Congregation’s representations in the Governing Council, between the Academic and Non-Teaching staff of the University.
