The College of Plant Science and Crop Production was created in 1989 as a logical development from the erstwhile College of Agricultural Production and Technology which was split into two Colleges concerned with Plant and Animal Sciences.
PHILOSOPHY AND OBJECTIVES
The Departments in the College offer undergraduate programme leading to the award of Bachelor ofAgriculture. The Departments aim at training skilled manpower for sustainable food production and naturalresource management. The human resources and facilities in the Departments make the development of these experts possible through the undergraduate programme of the Department.
