As part of efforts to boost climate resilience and drive digital transformation in agriculture, the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) would be hosting a One-Day Training Programme themed “Digital Financial Solutions (DFS) for Farmers in Remote Communities to Adapt to Climate Change.”
The training, which is being organised by the DIGISOL-FUNAAB Team under the European Union-supported DIGISOL Project, is scheduled to hold on Thursday, April 24, 2025, at the Centre of Excellence in Agricultural Development and Sustainable Environment (CEADESE) Conference Room, by 10:00 a.m.
According to the Zonal Coordinator of DIGISOL FUNAAB, Prof. Adewale Dipeolu, the training is designed to equip rural farmers with the knowledge and hands-on skills required to adopt digital financial tools as a strategy for mitigating the adverse effects of climate change.
