Dr. Bukola O. Bolaji has a professional and academic experience of over 17 years; he obtained his Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.), Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD.) degrees in Mechanical Engineering (Building Services Option) at the Federal University of Technology, Akure, Nigeria in 1994, 1998 and 2009, respectively. His research interests are in the areas of refrigeration and air-conditioning, solar thermal and solar power systems. His deep interest in the study of Environment-Friendly Refrigeration System won him a Post-Doctoral research fellowship at the Tshwane University of Technology, Pretoria, South Africa in 2011.
He has supervised over 22 undergraduate and post graduate students. As a chartered Engineer, he has consulted in a variety of industries in Nigeria on refrigeration, air-conditioning and solar power systems for over sixteen years. As an erudite scholar, he has a great wealth of research experience which culminated into over 35 academic publications in international journals, peer reviewed conference proceedings, books, technical reports etc.
He is a member of several professional bodies including: Nigerian Society of Engineers, Nigerian Institution of Engineering Management and Environment Behaviour Association of Nigeria. He is also a member of Agricultural Mechanization and Energy Research Group of the Institute of Food Security, Environmental Resources and Agricultural Research (IFSERAR) Abeokuta, Nigeria.
