Oladapo A. Fasae is currently a Professor of Ruminant Animal Production in the Department of Animal Production and Health, Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Nigeria. Professor Fasae’s professional training started with animal production followed by research in ruminant production in masters and at the doctorate level. His research interests fall under a broad umbrella ranging from farming systems, development of all year-round feed for ruminants and organic livestock production. Professor Fasae teaches beef and dairy production, Sheep and goat production, Livestock farming system, Animal traction, Livestock diseases and control as well as organic livestock production at undergraduate and post graduate levels. He was a project partner on dual purpose goat development in Sierra Leone (DelPHE Project 577). Professor Fasae is a registered animal scientist with the Nigerian Institute of Animal Science and member of various professional bodies which include the Nigerian Society for Animal Production, British Society of Animal Science, International Goat Association, Organic Agriculture Programme for Tertiary Institution in Nigeria and the International Society for Organic Agricultural Research. He has been an active participant in African and World Organic Congresses. He has over 50 journal publications in reputable local and International journals.
