Ag. University Librarian, Dr. (Mrs) Mulikat Olawanle Salaam
The Governing Council at its 66th Statutory Meeting of Friday, May 13, 2011, has approved the appointment of Dr. (Mrs.) Mulikat Olawanle Salaam as the Acting University Librarian.
Dr. Salaam will be taking over from the University Librarian,
Mr. Abayomi Agboola who has just retired from the services of the University.
According to a statement signed by the Acting Registrar, Mr. Adeleke Adeboye, the appointment took effect from May 25, 2011, until a substantive University Librarian is appointed.
The statement further informed that by the virtue of her new position, the Ag. University Librarian will be responsible to the Vice-Chancellor, for the administration of the University Library and the coordination of general library services in the University and its Colleges, Departments, Centres, including those of the Teaching and Research Units.
