The Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Academic, Prof. Olukayode Akinyemi with the University Librarian, Dr. Abayomi Owolabi in the company of Dr. Tope Olaifa, Mr. Taofeek Bello, and some Library staff, attended the 23rd Nigeria International Book Fair held in Lagos.
FUNAAB’s attendance showcased the University’s commitment to academic excellence and knowledge dissemination.
Their primary objective of attending the Fair was to foster partnerships with book vendors and publishers, crucial for enhancing academic resources and supporting scholarly endeavours.
Through engaging discussions with various exhibitors, the team identified opportunities that aligned with the University’s educational goals, while staying abreast of industry trends and the needs of the academic community.
The event underscored FUNAAB’s dedication to academic advancement and laid the groundwork for future collaborations.
Meanwhile, the also event holds a significant importance in the African literary scene and the team’s proactive approach exemplified the University’s vision and commitment to academic enrichment, promising a brighter future for Nigeria’s educational landscape.
