Members of staff at the Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Development (DVCD), today, May 5, 2025, organised an in-house send-forth ceremony in honour of Prof. Kola Adebayo, the immediate past Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Development, and Mrs. Folasade Giwa, now the Deputy Registrar II, Senior Establishment Matters.

The event served as a warm and heartfelt occasion to appreciate the outstanding service and dedication of the duo to the development of the University.

Staff members took turns to share glowing tributes and fond memories, describing Prof. Adebayo as a visionary leader and Mrs. Giwa as a committed administrator whose professionalism is worthy of emulation.

The honorees expressed their gratitude for the kind gesture and pledged their continued support for the University in various capacities.

The send-forth ceremony highlighted the culture of appreciation within the University system and the strong bond among colleagues.
