The University Alternate Chairman, e-Exam, Dr. Eniola Fabusoro has expressed satisfaction at the conduct of the exam.
Speaking in a chat with FUNAAB Bulletin, Dr. Fabusoro who spoke while on duty at the Oba Lipede Multipurpose Hall Computer Centre described the conduct of the exam as a vast improvement on the previous ones.
He specifically pin-pointed the conduct of the Computer Based Test by the University Staff, contrary to previous practice of contracting it to external firm as laudable and promising.
Dr. Fabusoro likened the initial challenges faced by the staff of the University Information and Communication Technology Resource Centre (ICTREC) in the administration of CBT as the usual staggering, wobbling and slight falling that a child usually undergo in his genuine quest to walk.
He sounded confident that since age has not altered the saying that “practice makes perfect”, the staff (ICTREC ) will perform better in the next exercise and better still,
master it in subsequent ones.
Dr. Fabusoro, in reference to the success of the University in conducting CBT through its staff said it is an indication that an average Nigerian is embedded with great potentials that are waiting to blossom, given the right leadership and encouragement.
He described FUNAAB staff, both academic and non-teaching staff as bunch of talents that will stand shoulder high in any facet and clime in the world, especially in the face of challenges.
Dr. Fabusoro described the feat of ICTREC as a practical demonstration and eloquent testimony of what any staff or arm of the University is capable of doing when the chips are down.
