The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Oluwafemi Olaiya Balogun, has felicitated with the University’s Christian community on the occasion of the Easter celebration. Professor Balogun in his Goodwill Message to the community described Easter as a period to reflect on the divine significance of redemption, which he observed to be the hallmark of the resurrection of Jesus Christ. The Vice-Chancellor has therefore charged Christian staff and students, to use Easter celebration to reflect on their lives, with a view to imbibing the spirit of humility, selflessness and love to fellow men, as exemplified by Jesus Christ at resurrection, in order to foster harmonious relationship in the University community and the nation at large. Professor Balogun wished the community a joyous celebration and enjoined them to work towards fostering a more harmonious relationship in the University.
