Kinsmen of the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Professor Oluwafemi Olaiya Balogun will on Friday, March 4, 2011 honour him with the prestigious Award of Distiguished Egba Son. The Award ceremony which will be presided over by the Alake and Paramount Ruler of Egbaland, Oba (Dr) Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo, CFR, Okukenu IV, will hold at the June 12 Cultural Centre, Kuto, Abeokuta, by 5.00pm. The Award is the highpoint of activities marking the Lisabi Festival Silver Jubilee Celebration and it is designed to honour distinguished Egba Sons and Daughters, who have contributed to the growth, development and unity of Egbaland.
