All students of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) are hereby informed that entries are now open for the 2026 Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Air Staff Literary Competition (CASLC).

According to a release issued by the Dean, Student Affairs, Prof. Festus Adeosun, the theme for the 2026 Chief of Army Staff Literary Competition is “The People’s Army, Our Army,” while the Chief of Air Staff Literary Competition is themed “Optimising Emerging Technologies for Enhanced Air Operations.”

The competition aims to harness the creativity and adaptability of young Nigerians in addressing emerging security challenges. Interested students are advised to visit the official websites for further details:

Participation Guidelines:
Applicants must be between 18 and 24 years of age.
Essays must strictly reflect the approved competition themes.

Submissions must be clearly typed (scanned handwritten manuscripts will not be accepted).

Entries must include the participant’s name, age, institution, phone number, and email address.

All completed essays must be uploaded via the designated websites on or before March 31, 2026.

Students are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to showcase their literary talents on issues of national importance.
