A team of visitors, under the aegis of the Women’s Board, has commended members of the University community for their exemplary sense of hospitality.

According to the Team Leader, Miss Bola Afolabi, who spoke with the UNAAB Bulletin Crew, on behalf of other visiting members of the Board, said the excursion was highly interesting and revealing.

Places visited by the group included the Research Farm of the University, where they were shown the different stages in the breeding of Catfish, from fertilization to the mature table size.

The Team Leader said they were thrilled at the University Poultry, where they were exposed to the process of cross-breeding of exotic and local birds.

Miss Afolabi disclosed that they also had the opportunity of visiting the Industrial Park Unit, to learn about the procedure of making various UNAAB products such as the Palm-wine, Garri, deodorized Fufu powder, among others.

The team, however, expressed their appreciation to members of the UNAAB community for their hospitality, noting that they were well attended to, in all the places visited, promising to put into use, all their acquired knowledge.

Members of the Women’s Board, a non-governmental organization, took time off a Workshop at the Iroto Conference Centre, with participants drawn from several states of the federation.
