The Federal Roads Maintenance Agency (FERMA), has donated 20 solar-powered street lights to enhance the illumination at the University.

These lights are currently being installed from the Ceremonial Gate to the Motion Ground, to effectively brighten the night-time landscape.

The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Babatunde Kehinde expressed gratitude towards FERMA for their generous donation during a meeting at the installation site with Engr. Abayomi Oladimeji, the contractor’s supervising officer from FERMA’s Zonal Office in Lagos.

 Prof. Kehinde emphasised that the University still requires additional lighting, as the adjoining roads tend to be quite dark during the night, justifying the necessity for these street lights.

In his response, Engr. Oladimeji assured that the installation would be completed by Monday, October 30, 2023.
