As part of its commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and fostering sustainable business relationships, the Management Teams of First Heritage Culture and Hospitality Limited, as well as Stillrock Generale Limited on October 8, 2024, presented two West African Dwarf Goats (Male and Female) to the FUNAAB Zoological Park.
Receiving the donation on behalf of the Director, FUNAAB Zoological Park, Prof. Sammy Sam-Wobo, the Chief Zoo Curator, Mr. Emmanuel Friday, expressed gratitude to the two organisations for their generous contribution.
The Chief Executive Officers of the donating organisations, Omo’ba Abiola Ogundeko of First Heritage Culture and Hospitality Limited and Oloye Seun Salami of Stillrock Generale Limited, were present for the handover.
Also in attendance from the FUNAAB Zoological Park were key staff members, including Mrs. Loretta Owobamirin; Zoo Accountant, Mrs. Olateju Adeola; Assistant Chief Zoo Superintendent, Mr. Matthew Ibiyomi; Zoo Curator I, Mrs. Oluwabukunayo Ijaodola; Zoo Curator II, Mr. Kayode Oladoja, and Mrs. Yetunde Bello, among others.
It should be recalled that in late September of 2024, Prof. Sam-Wobo initiated the construction of a goat shed and donated a female West African Dwarf Goat as part of efforts to raise goats and reduce the cost of purchasing small animals to feed the carnivorous species in the Park’s enclosures.
