A Delegate of Fourah Bay College, University of Sierra-Leone, Freetown has paid a Courtesy Call on the University, with a view to working out collaborative paths between the two Institutions.
Led by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Fourah Bay College (FBC), Professor Lawrence Kamara, the delegate were received by the University’s Principal Officers, led by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Kolawole Salako who welcomed them to the University.
Speaking on behalf of the FBC, Professor Kamara noted that his College is looking forward to commence a formal Institutional relationship and appropriate linkages for mutual cooperation and collaboration with FUNAAB.
He said that FBC looks forward to workout modalities with FUNAAB in the areas of Teaching, Research, Training of Staff and Students engagement and Activities, among others.
Professor Kamara appreciated the University for responding to their call to visit and for welcoming them in the University.
Responding, the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Kolawole Salako noted that FUNAAB is open for discussion, and collaboration when all requirements are met by both parties.
He thereafter charged the Director, Centre for Internationalisation and Partnership (CENIP), Dr. Abdulrasak Adebowale to take them round the campus to see the University’s facilities and to workout further collaborative areas between both Institutions.
