The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) has conducted her Post Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (Post-UTME) screening exercise and it ended on a good note with over 8,000 candidates competing for admission into the University.
The 3-day exercise which started on Monday, March 29, 2021 was unique being the first virtual Post UTME screening that the University would be conducted and it was a huge success.
  Shedding light on the conduct of the exercise, the Chairman, Admissions Committee and Dean, College of Plant Science and Crop Production (COLPLANT), Prof. Mufutau Atayese disclosed that the examination was conducted in batches, with the first two days scheduled for examination proper while the third day was used to correct and address complains.
Prof. Atayese commended the Prof. Kolawole Salako-led Administration for the bold initiative and for providing necessary logistics to enhance the success of the exercise.
Speaking on the advantages of the virtual examination, the Chairman Admission Committee noted that it eliminates physical contact which prevents the spread of COVID-19, road accidents, kidnapping, among other security challenges which will be of greater benefit to both the university and the candidates.
