The Vice-Chancellor, Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), Prof. Babatunde Kehinde, has approved the closing ceremony of the 2026 FUNAAB Staff Unity Games, scheduled for Friday, August 28, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at the FUNAAB Sports Centre.
Deans and Directors are encouraged to join the Vice-Chancellor as he formally brings the Games to a close.
As part of the ceremony, all Colleges and participating Groups are expected to parade their teams in their respective colours. A special trophy would be presented to the team adjudged to have the best March Pass.
Teams would be assessed based on their banners, colourful jerseys or appropriate attire, number of staff representatives, prompt attendance of their Dean, Director or Administrative Head, marching style and rhythm, as well as creative displays.
A 20-minute novelty match between the Deans/Directors Team and the FUNAAB Female Falcons would follow the March Pass. Certificates of Participation would be presented to participants, while all staff are encouraged to attend and make the closing ceremony memorable.
