The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) Degree Programmes at its affiliate institutions, Oyo State College of Agriculture and Technology (OYSCATECH), Igboora and the Federal College of Agriculture, Ibadan (FCAIB), have commenced the First Semester Examinations for the 2025/2026 Academic Session.
The examinations, which began today, March 2, 2026, would run for two weeks across both institutions, marking another significant milestone in the academic calendar of FUNAAB’s collaborative Degree Programmes.

To ensure a smooth and credible conduct of the examinations, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic), Prof. Olusegun Idowu, led a monitoring visit to Igbo-Ora. Accompanying him were the Chairman, Timetable and Examinations Committee (TIMTEC), Prof. Pius Dada, and the Academic Coordinator, OYSCATECH Degree Programmes, Prof. Emmanuel Idehen.
After visiting OYSCATECH, the team, led by the DVCA, proceeded to FCAIB in Ibadan, where they were received by the Coordinators of the Degree Programmes at FCAIB, Prof. Christopher Alake and Dr. Elizabeth Augustus. The visit afforded the team the opportunity to assess the conduct of the examinations and engage with officials overseeing the programmes at the Igbo-Ora and Ibadan campuses.
The presence of the University’s Top Officers highlights FUNAAB’s commitment to maintaining high academic standards and quality assurance across its affiliate institutions. Their visit provided oversight, encouragement to students, and further strengthened institutional collaboration.
Meanwhile, the examinations at both Igbo-Ora and Ibadan were conducted in line with the University’s academic regulations, reflecting FUNAAB’s sustained dedication to excellence, integrity, and the delivery of quality higher education through its affiliate programmes.
