The University Management recently announced the appointment of new Directors across different Directorates.
Director, Directorate of Technologists and Technical Staff (DITTECS)
The appointed Directors are as follows: Dr. ‘Wunmi Anthonia Abimbola-Okunneye as Director, the Directorate of Technologists and Technical Staff (DITTECS); Engr. Kehinde Bamisile, Director, Directorate of Physical Planning; Mrs. Yewande Baiyewu, Director, Directorate of Internal Audit; and Dr. Samuel Olabanji, Director, Directorate of Sports.
Before their various appointment, Dr. Abimbola-Okunneye, a FUNAAB Alumnus who graduated with the 1998/1999 set was with the Department of Zoology and Environmental Biology, Faculty of Science, Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State; while Engr. Bamisile cut his professional tooth at the Directorate of Works and Services, Federal University of Technology, Akure, Ondo State.
Director, Directorate of Internal Audit
Mrs. Yewande Baiyewu and Dr. Samuel Olabanji previously held the position of Acting Director, at the Directorate of Internal Audit, and Directorate of Sports in FUNAAB, respectively.
Their appointment is for a five-year term as contained in the University’s Rules and Regulations for Senior Staff.
Meanwhile, the University Management, led by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Babatunde Kehinde, while congratulating the appointees, encouraged them to contribute to the University’s progress and development.
